THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (CHURCH LANE, GRAPPENHALL) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING AND CLEARWAY) (EASTER) TEMPORARY ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving and clearway on Church Lane from its junction with Broad Lane to its junction with Glebe Avenue.
The Order will be effective from 6th April 2020 for 2 weeks between 8:30am & 5:30pm Monday to Saturday, when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The alternative route will be via Church Lane, A56 Chester Road, A50 Knutsford Road, Bellhouse Lane and vice versa or via Broad Lane, Grappenhall Lane, A50 Cliff Lane, A50 Knutsford Road, Bellhouse Lane and vice versa.
The restrictions are required to allow for continuing works to Heritage Area reconstructing and relaying cobbled road surface, including work to improve drainage.
