THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (THELWALL LANE AND ADJACENT STREETS)
(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2020
Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Thelwall Lane – From Kingsway South to a point 50 metres east of Clearwater Quays; From Thelwall Lane for 50 metresalong the following lengths of road: Poachers’ Lane; Charlton Street; Sandhurst Street; Newman Street; Dover Road; Pendlebury Street; Moss Road; Seabury Road; Denver Street; Ottawa Gardens; Nook Lane; Latchford Street; Richmond Street; Clearwater Quay; Powder Mill Road. The Order will be effective from 2nd November 2020 for 7 weeks between 7pm & 1am, when signed on site. The alternative route is via Nook Lane, Reynolds Street, Kingsway South and vice versa. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The closures are required for carriageway surfacing.
