Safety in Winter

Help for Vulnerable People During Winter Months

Out of a population of almost 10,000 in Grappenhall and Thelwall, nearly 2000 are over 65, many of whom are living in social isolation. It is important to keep warm and stay well during the winter months and the Parish Council is making a plea to all residents to watch out for neighbours, friends and those who may be more vulnerable during cold weather.

Just checking whether an elderly neighbour needs anything from the shops can make a real difference to someone’s life.

For advice and information contact AGE UK on 01925 244645 or feel free to contact the Parish Council on 01925 264918 and we will try to help wherever we can.
